This is a short, yet intensive, course that is meant to help you master writing well-structured academic essays. After the course, you should be able to write an academic essay for school assignments and projects, theses, a personal statement, or a cover letter for a new job. We're going to work on multiple aspects: planning and structuring essays, page format, language and quotations, and understanding assessment criteria and proofreading. This corse will run on Fridays at 4 PM UTC.

Class 4: 28/ 4/2023
In this meeting, students will learn: A) The language, tone, and style they need for an essay: formal language and first person writing B) Useful connective words and phrases C) Using quotations D) Harvard referencing E) Understanding assessment criteria and proofreading
