Hello
I am a primary and secondary school level tutor. I teach English to students aged 4-16. I am understanding and open minded to different ways of learning and teaching. I believe that everyone has a unique way of learning and I am able to create a space that allows you to be comfortable to flourish.

WORK EXPERIENCE
I have been an English tutor for 5 years. I have also taught SEN students. Each lesson was tailored to the student's needs. I started off with Early years students working on phonics and word blending and gradually moved onto preparing GCSE students for exams. I planned, prepared and taught classes of up to 5-6 pupils at a time. By the end of the year, students were confident in their work, and were able to demonstrate what they learnt.
During COVID-19 I tutored online to students who were falling behind in their studies. I was able to create a carefully structured plan that worked for students needs and level. Together with the student, we tackled areas that needed to be improved. This enabled the pupil to identify their own strengths and weakness. This is a great way to give them the confidence to
